Portable and rechargeable fans

A rechargeable folding fan is a handy option if you want something portable that does not need to stay plugged in, useful for moving between rooms, taking outside, or keeping in a bag for travel.

Stand fans for a fixed spot

If you want to cool a specific room consistently, a stand fan is usually the better choice. Look for a remote control if you want to adjust settings without getting up, and an LED display if you like being able to see the current setting at a glance, particularly in a dim room.

Room size

Larger rooms generally need a fan with a wider sweep or higher airflow to feel the benefit throughout the space, while a smaller fan is often enough for a bedroom or home office.

Safety around children and pets

If you have young children or pets at home, check that the fan has a properly guarded blade housing, and consider a stand fan with a stable base that will not tip over easily.

Orders over £50 qualify for free UK delivery; orders under £50 are charged a flat £4 delivery fee. Most orders arrive within 2–3 working days, and you are welcome to Click & Collect from our Oadby shop instead. Every fan comes with a 30-day return window and Emirate's standard one-year warranty.
